Welcome The Program
for Social Science Statistics was initiated in 2002 by the Office of the
Vice President for Research in conjunction with faculty in the social
sciences and in The Program hosts a Distinguished Speaker Series that brings to campus experts from statistics, psychology, educational psychology, sociology, and political science to present their research and discuss issues of current interest to the field. Participants in the initiative come from the Colleges of Liberal Arts, Science, Education and Human Development, and the Mays Business School. The
Program has generated several ongoing working groups of faculty with common
